Morehead Agency LLC was formed in August 2005 to provide value added insurance and risk management services to customers in Lee's Summit and surrounding communities. As a business located in Lee's Summit, we encourage our staff to be actively involved in the community. We are active with the Lee's Summit Chamber of Commerce as well as the Lee's Summit Parks and Recreation board.
Prior to forming Morehead Agency LLC, Tim Morehead's career consisted of over 30 years of leadership and senior management experience in the industry. This experience was in areas diverse as Underwriting management, strategic planning, risk management, reinsurance, loss control, premium audit, pricing and compliance. Tim has served on several national industry committees including several years on the National Workers' Compensation Reinsurance Pool Board of Governors. Tim attained the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 1990.

Tyler started with the agency in March 2006. He is licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance. Prior to starting with the agency he was the director of human resources of a local community center in Lee's Summit.

Shannon started with the agency in July 2008. She is licensed in Property & Casualty along with Life & Health insurance for the states of Missouri and Kansas. She specializes in home, auto, and life insurance.
Community activities: She enjoy coaching her daughters competitive softball team.
Hobbies: Shannon enjoys spending time with her family at the lake and bird hunting with the family dog.

Bio: Darren is currently an associate agent assisting in commercial lines with the agency. He obtained his property and casualty license in July 2006. He began his insurance career with a subsidiary of Conseco Health Insurance.
Education: Graduate of Claremont McKenna College in Claremont California.
Hobbies: Enjoys supporting local cross country teams and fishing in his spare time.
